Happy Birthday sue98! I definitely understand your thoughts, but have to say I have truly enjoyed my 50's. The 9 years I have enjoyed in this decade have been wonderful and very peaceful. My life is more settled and relaxed than ever before, and I could not be happier, nor more content than I am right now. Relax, and enjoy this stage of your life. May all your days be happy and good.

Happy birthday! I turned 50 three years ago. You'll get used to it. It's really a great age....you have the confidence and knowledge that you wished you had in your 20s or 30s. That said, the mental concept of aging is hard for me to grasp sometimes...
