I bet they're using PayPal Pal Credit as they do take Pay Pal.
I don't mind the wait to get things as I don't ever order items I need immediately. Then when something is delivered it's like a surprise for me.
Their items have never been in a store so they're not leftovers. I've gotten dozens of shoes and it's obvious they are in pristine factory condition with not a crease is the tissue and still full of the shaping material.

QVC is making a mint on the way things are now, it seems to be acceptable to the customers, so why should they change?

Yes!
They haven't been sitting around Zulily, either.

@millieshops wrote:@MominohioWay too many companies that work to get their shipping costs down seem to do it by offering lesser merchandise. I first saw that happen at LLBean when my first order with free shipping was a top I'd just purchased in multiples the year before came to me in a much less desirable cotton.
Can't tell you how disappointed I was, but I can tell you I no longer pay their prices. And that was years back. I never gave them a second chance -- and so far just haven't regreeted by choice. I know they have good CS, but CS goes only so far to entice me just like free shipping.
I reached the point in my life that I buy very little, but I'd rather have what I want and buy less than to buy more of lesser products.

Lesser products?
Not if you know what you are doing and pay attention. I found a piece of Polish stoneware there for $125 I would have paid a lot more for on QVC.
A few weeks ago I bought a beautiful Mosser red glass cherry bowl. $39 on Zulily, $69 elsewhere

Yeah no doubt!! I wish people would wake up and realize easy pay really isn't saving them money!! Like others have stated, it only really benefits QVC in the end because it gets people to buy things they otherwise can't afford or aren't willing to shell out the money upfront for whatever reason. So yeah, why would QVC ever change what they are doing when they are still making bank? Everyone though it was so *nice* of them to lower shipping costs, lol, but alas we find out all they ended up doing was costing us more or at least the same money in the long run since they no longer credit you back your original s/h! It is just a shell game and apparently they think we are stupid.

@Noel7Tks -- I never actually looked on their site because the one time I tried, I couldn't browse without signing in. I no longer do that --for anyone.
I didn't even know they had any housewares/decorative items even though every single day for a long time their ad has shown up as a sidebar on my email - all clothes I would never wear or never be able to wear.

I doubt that it takes "weeks" to receive things but since I already own stuff, I would be in no hurry for anything I did buy from Zulily. I visited the site but I didn't spend much time there. Granted I was just looking to be looking but it didn't seem like a place I would go to shop. It seemed rather low end.

yeah, actually sometimes it does. It depends on where it is coming from, etc. It is a little similar to idea beyond the rack and hautelook sites. I had one item in an order take quite a number of week to ship- even an item from another order placed well after that one arrived well before that other item.
Here is the info on shipping per their FAQ:
How long will it take to get my order?
Our process is a little different from how most online stores work. We make bulk orders when each of our events ends—that's one of the ways we're able to offer such great deals on so many unique products every day. Next, the brand sends your goodies to us and we ship them to you. Take a look at the product description pages for specific details about each item. The shipping & handling time frame depends on what items you order and to which countries you are having them shipped. Once your order is shipped, we’ll email you a tracking number and you can always check your order's status under my orders.
It doesn't bother me personally though because I know that going into it that it could take awhile, just like BTR and hautelook. I am never in a rush to get those types of items anyway.
