The last time we had winds this strong there was a tornado outbreak in Texas along the I 35 corridor, and it moved eastward into neighboring states.
The wind is frightening. The plumber is here installing new faucets, and he said his company cancelled some out of town calls because of the blowing dust and high wind forecast.
I hope everyone is prepared for what may be headed your way.
I too live in West Texas and the wind today was bad. A couple of weeks ago when we had bad winds my daughter in law's parents home was within minutes of burning down. The fire got their back acres and was a few feet from the house when the wind changed. The whole area had to be evacuated. We were certainly thanking the Lord!
