Weather Channel Website-Covid 19 Tab

Just an FYI.  The Weather Channel website has a new tab for Covid-19.  It gives the number of cases in your city/county and state.

I wish they would show how many tests have been performed and not just the ones that are positive. False-negatives can occur at a rate of 3% with the current method of testing and that is concerning when you look at the numbers. A positive test result does not mean the person has been diagnosed with COVID-19. Positive test just means the presence of virus and not disease. There is a difference.

 

We need better testing and, furthermore, we need a vaccine.
