Re: We used to discuss all kind of things on this forum.

I agree.  Things are moved to "appropriate" forums that no one ever visits so it's impossible to get a discussion going.

If a thread disappears from the main page it's pretty much hopeless.

I never go to the TV and Movies forum.

That must be where all the Housewives threads are.   LOL

I don't mind as I figure if this is their forum so they can organize it how they like.

I probably wouldn't mind as much if they were even-handed about it.  We have all kinds of animal threads that could be moved to the Pet forum, for instance.   We have threads about figure skating and football which could be moved to the Sports Forum.  I'm just using those threads as examples.

You got a point there. It should be consistent then.

Technically they should probably move about half the threads posted in that case.

@CardinalGirl  I can't imagine why your thread was chosen to be moved.   Maybe someone reported it and suggested it go to the movies forum?

I'd love to be able to post on a thread, without it being deleted.  I am not challenging moderation for what they choose to do or not but being shsssh'd without reason or seeing threads deleted, makes me wonder why?  Yet other threads, of the same topic remain and conversations on the same line continue.  Would someone at the PTB please give us an explanation of exactly how this game works.  Sometimes what stays, goes or is moved isn't breaking rules/standards.

@Chrystaltree2  Not this time. Threads were moved as a result of this, as the Mod Beth even states:

I don't mind things being in a subforum at all, except for the fact that a lot of people aren't even aware of them.  If all the subforums showed to the left of the board under My Favorite Brand without having to click on that, I think it's a great idea.  But I think a lot of people just don't click on My Favorite Brand and know aobut the subforums.

The problem is threads were moved into the Favorite Brands forum, but won't keep being consistently moved, so now we'll have to look all over the board for threads.

The movie "Joy", comes to mind. It remained under CC.  I think your thread was moved because someone reported your thread.  I don't know.

I understand about having a favorite forum.

Re: We used to discuss all kind of things on this forum.

I don't understand why things are moved either and sometimes I can find it, sometimes I can't.  Does it say where the thread is moved to?  I don't like the changes but unfortunately, it's QVC Board and they can do what they want.  I'm just glad that I never had a boring job like the moderators have.

Are threads really being reported for being in the "wrong" place?

@nun ya  Did you read the link I posted a few posts above?

And the answer to your question is yes.  There was a recent incident in the fashion forum about a completely off topic thread there that stirred quite a controversy.by being posted in that forum.  Below  is a recent thread too.  In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a connection between these two threads (the one below in this post and the one I posted above) because the timing of their posting is so close together.  IMO it's a large reason why threads are being moved around so much.

LOL, I reported one once.   Basically out of spite.  The OP had a long diatribe of threads not being in the right forum and then right after posted in a forum where it had no business being according to her standards anyway.    They didn't move it either.
