Is the one that only has 2 legs adhered to the wall ? I would be afraid it might fall if bumped.

Oh thank you. I thought it must be or it would be too unstable. They are very pretty.

Yes, we would love to see a before and after of your house! I've mentioned/suggested many times to have a "QVC DIY "Category, or something similar. I'm sure that many posters would enjoy those threads.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

What a fantastic idea!

I have a few of these half tables too...I'm always looking for them at estate sales...I can usually find them up in the attic.

LOVE your french doors too!!!!

Cardinal Girl,

I must agree this is such a clever idea and your home looks beautiful. It looks elegant in a homey way, if that makes any sense.

Re: We sawed a table in half......(pictures included).

Good job! I love flea market and thrift store finds and have them here and there all over our house. I haven't sawed any tables in half (yet), but think it's a great idea. I like to use odd things in unexpected ways. I bought a beautiful old dresser drawer (wood inlays, brass hardware) for $5 at a yard sale and am using it as a plant stand, standing on end in a corner of my bedroom with its embellished front facing the room. I have an old wooden cranberry rake that I use as a planter box and a big old woven picnic basket that I use as a chairside mini-table (with odds and ends stored inside). Love me some interesting old junque!
