My last appointment was in June and I wore a mask but my doctor didn't. He said he tried it but it gets in the way and gets caught on the equipment, etc.. I was shocked and should have walked out but I really love this doctor otherwise.

Yes, they taped a piece of the fabric-type adhesive tape across the top.

Yes, face-masking was okay but I drew a line at the blindfold.

@Mindy D I wanted to say but forgot in my first post: My eye doctor had me pull my mask up a bit higher under my glasses and pinch in tighter at the nose. You need the type with a good strong pincher that holds. That really helped.

No doctor wants to go near you without a mask (except for mouth and nose type things).

And you do not want to go near them either.

@CherryHugs It's been a year and a half since my last eye exam. I'm going to wait another couple of months until many more are vaccinated. If I go and see one person not wearing a mask, I'm outta there. After that, I'll have to think about the dentist -- also as long.

Wear a mask. Social distance. Be part of the solution - not part of the problem.
