We just love bluebirds and since we have a big back yard, we have always put up 3 bluebird boxes every year and usually see the birth of 4-5 babies in each box, twice per season.
We were delighted to check the boxes yesterday to see 1 nest with 5 eggs and a full nest in the 2nd and a partial nest in the 3rd!
I just love Mother Nature and can't wait to see these babies fledge!
(I know, I'm goofy, LOL!)

Oh, I love all the little birdies so much! I think this is great.
I really struggle this time of year. While, on one hand, I love love love seeing new babies, OTOH I worry about them endlessly.

@KingstonsMom No, you aren't goofy to love nature. I love spring in nature when everything renews itself. I see the baby calves on the farms and all the birds nests and all the scurrying about by the parents. It's a wonderful time.

Oh, I l know what you mean about worry!
We also have red tailed hawks in our area and when the bluebirds are nesting, we feed the Mom's mealworms on a platform.
We then stand 'guard' while they eat to make sure no hawk swoops in and the bluebirds are not the least bit afraid of us, we can stand right underneath the feeding platform, while Mom eats.

Ooh, that's the most fun thing when there are babies - taking lots of pictures!
One year I had a dove nest in a tree right in front of my house. I took a zillion pics that year as they grew up and then went out on their own. Sometimes the two babies would come back and visit me. They would be hanging out on the walk so I could take their pics.
So cute!!! All birdies are just so cute. I love them so much that I wish I could hug them and keep them safe forever. ![]()

You got it!
We have some amazing pics from our past 'babies' when they start peeking out from the nest!

Another fav of mine are the quails. The quail babies are just so cute I can hardly contain myself. Of course, I worry about them endlessly so it's a double-edged sword.
One time I got a pic with a few of them and one was in the air in my shot.
I hope your enjoy your babies!! ![]()
