whirlpool started promoting this line late last year saying that SS was on the way out. i've seen it and i don't like white appliances no matter what.

I really like it. I've never been crazy about all stainless, due to the cold appearance and the difficulty cleaning the fingerprints. I think it's definitely an improvement and will fit in well with stainless kitchens.

In fact, the combination of a white finish, stainless handles and mirrored glass appear to have a lot in common with Apple's popular design language.

So, should we be referring to this as an i-Fridge?

I think it's an improvement over the stainless. Never have liked that at all. Looks very cold and industrial to me. I know a lot of people think of stainless as an upgrade, but it's not to me. It's quite a turn off for me.

i never liked it either. it looks too much like a hospital cafeteria to me - very cold as you said.

I'm with you, MS. I agree that it looks cold & industrial. Plus, I've heard it's a nightmare to keep clean and get rid of fingerprints.

For myself, I'd never pay extra for it.

I'm with you. White and black appliances aren't to my taste.

But this is an option for those who don't like stainless.
