Re: We get to a point where we don't want to change.

this thread proves any topic posted here can and eventually will turn toxic. If anyone knows of someone almost 100 who is up with the latest technology, I'll eat my hat. I am 65, and feel I've pretty much met the threshold for keeping up with it. At some point most say enough already. I am done.

Re: We get to a point where we don't want to change.

Well, I have no reason to argue with anybody about the issue but I have seen on many occasions people on their devices while at dinners - at homes and restaurants. Funniest thing, my husband I were at our favorite Mexican restaurant, sitting opposite each other in a booth - in walked a mother and daughter (she called her Mom is how we knew). They sat in separate booths, ordered food and typed away throughout the entire meal. We thought they might have each been waiting for others, but no. They were together

sorta. {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes} Lucky it was past lunchtime and before dinner so the place had plenty of room to accommodate their desires.

Just kidding, Wookie. I better stop posting on this thread. I think I have outworn my welcome.{#emotions_dlg.crying}

Re: We get to a point where we don't want to change.

This thread is done now. Thank you all for a wonderful discussion that up to now was friendly with some really great, honest posts. I have copied it to my journals, so if it gets poofed now, I can always reread it in Word.

Have a good evening everyone.
