I got this in my email (just now).
"County Alert – PG & E advises that ALL customers in ******** County will lose power again early Tuesday morning due to extreme weather conditions in parts of ******** County and surrounding counties that will cause dangerous conditions for power transmission lines. Expect power to be out several days. Please note, all information is provided by PG & E and is subject to change at any time. Overnight temperatures are expected to drop into the thirties to upper forties. This will be the last Alert for tonight as we prepare for the next scheduled outages."

I'm following a few people on a facebook group going through this, and I have to say, you all sure have to be on your toes with this.
I guess all the years of people making fun of those being prepared and well stocked, and having alternate ways of doing everything is officially over. It seems that there isn't an area of the country that doesn't have some kind of 'thing' that can leave people without the lifestyle and amenities they are used to having.
Hope all goes well for everyone, and the fires get under control quickly.

@Anonymous032819 I'm glad your power is back on, 😀but sad 😞 that it's going off again! Guess you're doing laundry and turning the heat up while it's on.
We have hurricanes here and it's off until the storm is over. Fire and wind is frightening!
Take care I hope it's better soon.

We had no storms,no winds ,no fires and still had no electricity for about 5 hours last night in PA. Our entire development was out. Didn't receive any explanations just a phone call waking me up this morning at 7am telling me my electricity was back on. I'm retired and didn't need the call.

How strange, @embgm . Last Friday our block was without power due to some work they had to do. It lasted six hours.
But we were notified more than once about the outage before it happened.

I would definitely want to move out of California. I remember when I was in the 7.1 late 80's early 90's (I don't remember the exact year) in San Francisco. Quite a few people moved out of the state after that. California is beautiful but so many horrible tragedies. Earthquakes, mud slides, forest fires, fires, droughts, too much rain and the list goes on. So very sad and now people are forced to go without electricity. Really?

Many people have moved out of California - mostly because housing and everything else - got very expensive. Then - other people move in. It's way too crowded so I wish more people would leave.

The people of California need to take their government back. Part of the reason for all the fires is nobody takes care of forestry like they're supposed to, and to allow the people that you have running your state to have the ability to absolutely cut off your electricity and force you to do solar panels and then force you to do generators to run your solar panels and then sell all that back to them is in sane and furthermore what they have done with the homeless people is mind blowing. For God sake wake up
