Storm which is just over New Mexico, came through last night bringing SUSTAINED 60-70mph winds and heavy snow in many areas. Early this morning we had white out conditions on the Interstates, power lines and trees down, traffic light out and wrecks.
The wind coming through a canyon in the Sandia Mountains actually blew the snow away from most of Albuquerque but we really got the wind. Ski areas got lots of snow; too bad they're closed for the season. Very cold.
Monday in 70s. This storm will move East.

Very thankful my daughter is not in your neighborhood today; she was in that area last week when Denver got pounded with heavy snow, but was not affected.
