That is my generation. We also caught lightning bugs, jumped rope, and knew how to be respectful and play with others.

@SandySparkles i remember them all except laughing under the bed covers. I wasn't laughing -- I was reading a good book that I just could not put down and thought I could get away with reading it with a flashlight under the covers. I didn't (get away with it).

I do think that every generation has their own special uniqueness that they look back upon fondly
