Watching some new cooks on t.v.

Two different ladies from the south, and I'm just in my glory watching them do things from scratch on their stoves.  I really like these.  No calories at all. LOL.  Have to be inside due to the snow, for us, so this is right up my alley.

Are any of you watching any cooking shows?

I watched "Mary Makes It Easy" this morning on the Food Network.  She is from Canada.

What channel?  Food Network, the Cooking Channel or Magnolia Network?

Watching Joanna Gaines in the kitchen makes me cringe. She doesn't look the least bit comfortable or authentic.

She struggles like Gina Neeley did. Turns out Gina Neeley never did set foot in her husband's restaurant kitchen.  She had been a bank manager. They are now divorced after the show ended.

One of the shows which I think is really fun is The Kitchen!  The chiefs or cooks are all so knowledgeable and they prepare some really nice dishes and so many of them are pretty normal things --- not so fancy that you would never figure out how to prepare them, would not want to eat them or want to buy tons of ingredients to make them.  And they all seem so natural and have a blast while they are doing it!
