She is. A young grandmother but she is old enough.

My great grandmother became a grandmother at age 38. She had her first child at 17. But this was in the early 20th century. Lisa doesn't look like my great grandmother, or any grandmother, (according to the stereotype) and neither do a lot of us. Many people are having their first children in their forties. I think that's a very 20th century term to use. Smiley Happy

And a GrandMothers.....Are.....what? Lisa is like 49. Yes, if she had children.... all grown up .....she is old enough to be grandparent. What does that have to do with anything?
Because someone said without Lisa it will be the grandma network.
Oh, now I see why you said that......QVC already is the red hat lady network.....do not think Lisa leaving is going to help their reputation for frumpy fashion. It is frumpy already!

Lisa tonight looks frumpy, with the logo hanging out from under the jacket. She just is not wearing it well tonight.

Flipped channel during DWTS to PMS and I felt uncomfortable with Dennis Basso killing all over Lisa. Yuck!!

Dennis is always grasping, touching the models....creepy. He must be single...he is just yuk.

Dennis is married...to a male.

You say that like it's a bad thing....technically someone could be a grandmother before their 30's. Age is just a number. I missed the presentation with Lisa Rinna but I think both LR's are timeless beauties.

eta: That Dennis Basso blazer is really cute. Very flattering on all the models.

Nope. Didn't mean it as a bad thing. Just saying that why should a 49-year-old woman with no children be considered any more stylish and hip than a 49-year-old who happens to be a grandma :-)

Apologies, I misunderstood your comment. To your point, there is no reason at all. I've met some very frumpy 20-somethings and know some very stylish seniors. Some women have an innate sense of style, and others never quite put it together...which is why people like LR get paid the big bucks.

Jules, I was originally responding to a specific comment, but since I didn't quote it, I understand the confusion lol

HIF, I totally agree with you. I will miss Lisa a lot. She is the total package-- smart, funny, gorgeous, and nice. Also, knows fashion and décor.

Yep, she is. My sister was 19 when she had her first child, and that child was 19 when he had his first child . . . so that made her a granny at 38.
