The much-anticipated wedding of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is one step closer with the sending out of the invitations.

The invites for the event -- widely believed to be scheduled for some time in the coming weeks in France -- have been sent out to guests, a source close to the couple tells ET.

Wonder what the bridal showers will be like- can't imagine the kind of gift they'd get? Expensive as all get out- No gift cards for this couple! LOL

If they had any sense, they would request that in lieu of actual gifts, attendees would be asked to make donations to the charity of their choice. I doubt they'll do that, though.
