Washer/Dryer Brand Suggestions.... Please!

Good afternoon All.

I have to go out tomorrow and purchase a new Washer and Dryer. I have had no luck trying to find the ratings guide from Consumer Reports on the Best/Worst Washers and Dryers.

Does anyone have any opinions on what the best are now- a- days. Have to admit, we will be putting the house up for sale in the next year, and they may end up as a selling point, so I'm not sure I want to spend a whole lot of cash on something that may stay with the house when we move. But I'd like good quality for my investment.
