How awful for the person who died on the train tracks, to have their body violated in such a manner, but also for the one who clearly had no idea what he was doing with the body part.

He's either seriously mentally ill, or under the influence of who knows what. While this story is horrid and disturbing, for many, it's just sad for me. After working for so long in Psych, it's not a shocker that the unimaginable can, and does, happen.

I made the mistake of finding a news outlet that showed the unsencored video of it happening . The man is clearly mentally ill and in a drug altered state- this is the type of stuff that you see in horror films. Sad all around- for the pedestrian who was hit by the train, witnesses and the man who needs help with drug issues and his mental health.

Im glad you posted this story. I hadn't heard anything about it yet. Maybe I'm weird, but I watch a lot of the ID channel and they have things like this on all the time. Of course I hate for anythlike this to happen. It's horrible and scary!

Personally, I think it's important to know exactly what kind of people are out here.

I can recall watching a show on the ID channel recently telling about another man in LA who killed a guy, cut his head off and walked outside holding it. While still in his hand, he jumped the neighboring fence, somehow got into another home and killed them. He left the first guys head on the bed of the second home.

This happened in Beverly Hills if I'm not mistaken.

@cheriere I've watched a ton of ID specials and crime specials- I think that I remember that one that you're talking about ! These types of crimes are really disturbing- its like a demon takes over the perpetrator's mind.

Thats the Perfect Description! It is like a demon taking over someone's body. I'm always shocked at the things some people do...most of the time for no reason at all. The randomness of these acts is what makes it even scarier!

@cheriere Its so crazy! To think that these people the night before had dinner, maybe talked with friends and then the next day commit such an awful act- its so nuts! I think sometimes people can see the warning signs, but I don't think anybody was prepared to witness or even visualize something like this in the news today!

The more and more I think about it, and what my mom used to say about how the mind/brain in some people does what it does......'It's just the way that person's brain works', etc.

I'm leaning toward the thought that the brain is complicated, and a certain portion of the brain overtakes the thinking portion of the brain, and just does what it does.

More of a physical thing, rather than mental

I don't know what's in the brain, but I'm visualizing it, and pointing to one section that just might physically prompt (overtake) someone to do something very bad.

I've often thought and said that even wild animals and pets from the same litter: one or two might be mean/vicious while the others in the litter are very nice, docile.

It's in the genes from way-way back in time or it's in the functioning of the brain.

Just a theory of mine, right or wrong.

That's so true! No one on earth would expect to read such a crazy story like this in the news.
