Was there a plea deal "offered" this past week and rejected???

I thought I saw somewhere that a plea deal was offered and rejected this past week - Casey Anthony? Anyone have that information???

What a waste of society's resources with this circus trial. I think she did it. She did it alone. The parents enabled her over and over and this is the result - I hope they are at least realistic about her guilt in their own minds. She is a poor example of a "con artist" - lie,lie, lie. How said to now tell the ultimate lie about who did it!

Unfortunately, I think there will either be a mistrial for juror misconduct OR a deadlock. There will never be an outright acquittal. Then we pay for the retrial.

While I think that anyone who harms a child would deserve the harshest penalty, I think she will be convicted the second time around and get LWOP - actually the worst sentence for such a narcissist.
