Was in supermarket, need to vent

I just got home from the supermarket. While I was there I saw a woman with a baby in the basket seat. The woman was arguing with another woman (I think was her mom) with her back to the cart and baby. The baby started to climb out of the basket and had one leg over the handle when I said to the woman that her baby was climbing out. She turned and pushed the child back into the seat and snarled at me "no she's not'. I turned around and walked away shaking my head. I heard the 2 woman cursing after me about who did I think I was to shake my head at them. I just walked away but it just blows my mind that anyone could take a warning that their child might fall in a negative way like that. I guess it takes all kinds. Thanks for listening.
