Walmart+ is very good for me. They have all kinds of extras offered. Recently they added a Burger King option where you can save 25% on a Burger King order each day using the BK app. That's a pretty good savings if you eat at BK on occasion. Add in Paaramount+ and some of the other stuff and the subscription pretty much pays for itself.

I have my mother signed up for it and it's great for her.

I took the free month because my car battery died on a Sunday morning and the best way to deal with it was to have one delivered to my house so I could replace it. I got it in two hours. During the free month they did offer me a deal for $50 for the year. I sort of regret not taking it.

One great benefit of the Plus is if you go into the store you can scan and go as you shop. You just scan all of your items as you shop and then when you go to the register you just scan the QR code at the register and off you go. LOVE IT! Although they should have one dedicated register just for that purpose so you can fly right out the door.

I have NOT subscribed to the service but in my area, I have found that if I answer the question "how do you want to get your items?" with "Shipping" and then start shopping the app, many of the things I order will wind up being delivered from the local store the same day at no charge as long as the entire order is over $35.  Since I discovered this I have often wondered why anyone would purchase the service unless this is not the policy in all areas.  I am in a rural, small town area and about three miles from the store.

How does that work with perishable items?

Yes! Have it and love it, use it all the time. Woman Very Happy

FYI There is usually a Black Friday special price offered on memberships (last year 50% off = $49), or if you're an AARP member you can get $20 off the cost of membership anytime.

No, I don't order from Walmart.  There is no super WM near me, just old format stores with just a limited selection of package groceries and small refrigerated section (milk, eggs, cheese mostly).

That's fine because I still like to do my own shopping and browse their clothing and housewares.  Once in a while I find something.

Just like with amazon, I dont subscribe, if I place orders at these places I spend $35 and get free shipping, not hard to spend $35 these days.

Sadly,  the WM and Sam's that were a mile from our home closed several years ago.

Sorry to be a spoiler. This would be so nice and so helpful if the delivery people could actually find the correct address. I tried Walmart+ service and had to cancel after they kept delivering my groceries to the wrong address. I did get the first order correct. How do I know? The delivery drivers would take a picture of my groceries at someone else's door and send it to me. After getting a refund for my orders, which I had to wait for the credit to come through, I had to go out grocery shopping anyway! Never had any problems with Amazon, UPS, or UPSP.

@monicakm  I joined Walmart+ because I get all my groceries and hardware items from that store.   I get at least one delivery a week.   For the most part it's worked very well.  I did get another person's large order (in addition to mine) once.  It was a PIA because I had more stuff than I could store as they told me to just keep it.   Gave some to neighbors and threw some in the trash.  I got Paramont+ but have never once looked at it.  We have no gas at our store so that's been no benefit.

I like using Scan and go at Sam's Club. Saves a lot of time. I also order online and pick up at the club.

I've had a Walmart+ membership for almost a year and like it.

Since I need to have most everything delivered I also have Instacart+, Target Circle 360, and Amazon Prime.

I don't use all the benefits but especially enjoy free Paramount+ streaming from Walmart and free Peacock streaming from Instacart.
