I have Walmart Plus and I really like it. I just had groceries delivered about 30 minutes ago for free. There is a $35 minimum for that but it's easy for me to meet that threshold.
Before delivery I got an email saying one health and beauty item was not in stock. So I had the opportunity to have to shipped for free which I did. Saves me from dealing with my Walmart's congested parking lot. Not dealing with traffic around that area is a blessing.

I totally get that! I don't want to go there in rush hour traffic when I get off, and I don't go out when I'm home unless it's a lunch. I will do things after a lunch unless it's raining.
Also I won't go though self checkout. First, I don't want jobs to disappear. Secondly, If I am going to self checkout, they can pay me!

@ECBG while my 2 closest WM's are 30+ minutes, both are now self checkouts only. One attended register left for tobacco products.
The smaller/nicer WM was self checkout prior to Covid so nothing new.

SO very sorry. I'd definitely go there with a list! I am between two, 10 minutes to either one on a 4 lane with a center turn lane which is a nightmare with all the slow traffic in the left lane!
They will have to go to "all self check out" before I'll be on that wagon!

@tends2dogs Re: Walmart's website jumping. I also had that problem and found that reducing my screensize a little when it happens stops it. Yes, that makes no sense whatsoever, but it works everytime.

I use the Walmart delivery for orders that reach $35. I really like it but I wonder why some items I want to buy aren't eligible for delivery. I understand the issues with certain grocery items, but I noticed a problem with a small non perishable product that I couldn't buy. I'm seeing this issue more often and think Walmart needs to figure out if this is the best way to retain customers and increase sales.

@Snowpuppy wrote:I quit WM shipping over a year ago. I ordered 11 grocery items and they arrived in 5 different boxes over 5 days.
One box containg only oatmeal was lost in transit over 3 days. They refunded my $. Finally arrived with the oatmeal box split open and oatmeal all over.
@Snowpuppy This is exactly what happened to me. Then the very next time I tried to order, they wanted me to pay to join. Uh no, I already have Amazon Prime and I'm very happy with it.

I can still do delivery, but now, it's $9.95 for delivery or you can do a year for just under $100.00!
SO much for saving money.
I would have thought a lot of shipments would have enabled to raise their profits through better prices from their vendors.
Are you going to subscribe to their delivery?
I have no idea what kind of service YOU get from Walmart, but I can buy items on Walmart.com and get free shipping for items that total more than $35.00. I do this a lot. A lot. A lot. Matter of fact, just got a delivery three days ago of some pantry items that I like to keep in stock.
I shop their personal care items, pantry items and other things. Never food because there is no local Walmart near me for me to participate in this new program they are offering.
Posters need to double check what you just said, cause I'm not finding that to be true @ECBG .
Spend $35.00 and get FREE SHIPPING if your items are sold and shipped from Walmart.
@gertrudecloset when I read @ECBG Post, I wondered the same thing. Walmart is $35 and free shopping. I just used it this week. Maybe it's different where @ECBG lives?

Of course it is. Free Shipping from their website, so long as the items total $35.00 or more. Just had an order delivered three days ago @Ainhisg
Right now I have an order of toiletries, some placemats and other items, almost $100.00 and the SH won't come off.
@ECBG something is definitely wrong. Maybe it drops off before you get t the end?

I place orders frequently and never have an issue with prompt shipping. I am in Illinois.
Thank you for the this tip. I ordered a few items from the Super Walmart for pickup early this morning. This is the third time that I have used the service and I always feel like they are pushing items to be shipped to me. I don't want items to be shipped to me. I just want to use curbside pickup. I end up going through my order at the end and removing items. Now that I know about the filter, I will look for it on my next order.
As for Amazon, I am a fan and purchase from them fequently, even though they have just raised their prime membership. (Boo.. hiss..)
@icezeus you know this won't stop us from shopping at Amazon. lol
