Re: Waiting on Turbo Tax Website

Someone did my estimated taxes for me just before lockdown.

Sent vouchers 1, 2 & 3 out today so now I am done until January. I went to the post office today thinking tomorrow might be busy, even in my sleepy town. I needed to see if my envelope required extra postage ( it did not). I was the only one there just before 3 p.m.

There goes my nice, fat savings account . Spent over $1100.00 on tires and an oil change for my car this week in addition to the estimated taxes. Oh well- nice while it lasted!

All but $100.00 of my "stimulus lite" check went right back to Uncle Sam. (I did not qualify for the full amount).

Re: Waiting on Turbo Tax Website

I gave up on Turbo, it's still spinning, and went to another online site. I just finished my Federal and State.

I've always used Turbo but now that it's let me down, kept me waiting, it's time to move on, so I'm going to break up with them. It was good while it lasted but I'm not wasting anymore of my life on them. There are other choices out there.

Re: Waiting on Turbo Tax Website

@occasionalrain I love Turbo Tax. I used TaxAct a couple of times and they got to be such a pain I switched and have been very pleased.

Unfortunately when you wait until the last minute some things will be overwhelmed but you got it done so that's good.

Re: Waiting on Turbo Tax Website

I finished and e-filed with Turbotax last night.  I just didn't feel comfortable waiting until the last day, but I never expected that the website would be overwhelmed.  I was thinking more along the lines that I would forget or there would be power outage, etc.
