Noel, are you still here? I had something I wanted to tell you.

Here, Scottie.

Well, I posted something sort of personal to you on the "forums bustling with activity" thread. I was hoping you saw it. If not, I just want you to know that I appreciate the fact that we can come together and see the good in each other in spite of times we have had "issues." I thank you for that.

Thank you, too, Scottie, I appreciate that about you and I certainly see the good in you! I'm sorry I didn't see your original comment on another line.

Well it IS a huge thread! Smile

If it's not a worry then why did about 1000 nurses protest on the Las Vegas Strip. THEY would know the truth.

Not necessarily. I've talked to some nurses who don't seem to have a clue about some things.

I wasn't on it much, either. But I'm glad I saw your post here. We can disagree and not fight about it Smiley Wink

{#emotions_dlg.laugh} Ok, so you're saying all the ones that protested were the dumb ones?

Nope, not worried.

More important "American-made" epidemics need the attention (Obesity, Heart Disease, Cancer).

Most nurses are not infectious/tropical disease experts. Nor are they epidemiologists. I remember similar protests when HIV was first being seen.

Maybe the 1000 nurses were just looking for an excuse to go to Vegas? Hard to believe.

Then why even mention it? No one else brought that up.

Why do you bring up things in your hometown?
