WWII Vet looking for 100 Birthday Cards for his Birthday

Hadn't seen this posted yet so thought I would share with everyone - There is a WWII Vet who lives is Texas and will turn 100 on Oct 7th and would like to receive 100 cards for his birthday.

He was married for 55 years (wife passed away in 2001); and just two years ago moved to a nursing home - the nursing home posted a picture of him holding a sign with his request and several news stations have now run the story.

Here is his address if you would like to send him a card -

James South

5800 North Park Drive
Watauga, TX 76148

I guarantee you the Post Office is going to be delivering van loads of cards to him at the nursing home.  Once social media gets wind of anything like this, it goes viral.

I wish him well on his 100th birthday!  Smiley Happy

The nursing home he is living in has warned the Post Office that they will probably be receiving a lot of mail in the next week or so.

Bless you for your act of kindness.  I will be sending out a card to Mr. South.  Reaching the age of 100 is a milestone and I hope all the good wishes makes brings him joy!
