WW2

Can you see the resemblance?  She was a code breaker at Bletchley Park.

Valerie Glassborow (Middleton), Kate Middleton's grandmother.

"The Duchess of Cambridge opened up about her grandmother, Valerie Glassborow, in the foreward of a book of puzzles that’s set for release this week by the U.K.’s national intelligence and security agency, GCHQ."

I did, I loved it!  It was so good, every detail, the stories and the settings.

I wish it would come back, I heard they were going to make a season two, but nothing after that.

I take it you watched, also?

Yes @Noel7. I loved it and do hope they bring it back. Interesting about Kate's Grandmother.

Kate had spoken before about how proud she was of her grandmother, I'd like to see what she has to say about her.

She looks like Liz Taylor when she was a young girl.

NO wonder Kate is so down to earth. Her Grandmother would be proud of her too

Re: WW2 BRILLIANT CODE BREAKER

I sure do see a resemblance, thanks for posting.  I haven't read the article in the link you posted, but my first thought was I wonder if the character in the film  The Imitation Game (excellent film)  was based on her? The characer that Keira Knightley played.

Re: WW2 BRILLIANT CODE BREAKER

No, other than that they are both caucasian women with dark hair; there is no resemblance at.   But it is indeed interesting.
