There's a culture of death in the US today ... both legal and criminal.

I'm in the Cleveland area so our news has been scrolling this story across the bottom of every local station pretty much since it happened and it is taken over our news broadcasts.
They have now said he didn't actually do the killing live, it was video taped and uploaded to FB. It was sickening to see. I had a local news channel on last night who chose to show the video right up until the gun was shot. It brought me to tears.
There was Mr. Goodwin, minding his own business, walking up a street on the sidewalk, carrying a bag. This thug called something out to him which made the gentleman stop and then Stephens was asking him some questions and then you see the gun go up and they stopped showing it. Apparently Stephens shot the man in the head.
Things have not been good in Cleveland or the surrounding area lately. Friday night a couple who own a car dealership were found shot to death inside the dealership. Their 19 year old son found them.
This morning I had the local news on and there was a story about another double murder last night but the story and the photos they had up weren't matching so I'm not sure what really happened there or if there is a suspect in those murders.
They are now saying they think Stephens has left Ohio. They pinged his cell phone later yesterday afternoon in Solon, Ohio.
ETA: Wanted to add that I am beyond disgusted with our local news Channel 3, WKYC for showing what they did. I do not intend on ever watching that news station again because that was in such poor taste. I had the channel on while watching something so came into the room as they showed this and couldn't get the remote to change fast enough.

Thanks for weighing in on this...imperative since you're in the area.
Since this is a national news story, I'm sure nothing will break
locally that the national stations won't pick up...but if you
hear anything locally, I (we) would love to read your posts about this.

@itiswhatitis I have to agree totally with what you said. The man has some massive evil pouring out if his soul and must be so tormented that he is ready to die.

I have such a problem with the loss of dignity given when someone's unfair, untimely, unexpected demise is pictured in my living room.
No one needed to see that. Nothing good comes from it. Other than a sick need to show it, so people would look.
And some people are sick for looking for it where it hasn't been deleted. Sick and sickening.
Heaven forbid if that had been my loved one, I would be so tortured to know that the world was able to watch something like that.
@Lucky CharmI agree.

He clearly isn't bright....if he was, he would've immediately driven to the Detroit-Windsor border. I hope he is laying in his car. Dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.....scum.

I'm thinking he's killed himself.

As horrific as this crime is, I find it very disturbing some of the responses here. All indications are this man had a mental breakdown. Very telling how some view mental illness.

The man is not mentally-ill. It is not like he needed to be de-escalated and talked off of a bridge or cliff. He had the foresight; the means; the plan to commit murder. He is impulsive, angry, and weak ego'd.
