WOW rain!

We have been in pretty much drought conditions here in SW Florida all winter. The allergies have been really bad with no rain to hold down the pollen. So we have had AC on continuously for weeks because of allergies. Yesterday, DH decides that our allergies seem better so lets open up the windows and let in some fresh air. We went to bed last night with the windows open for the first time in a long time - well Murphey's law - we had to get up in the middle of the night to close everything up because it was raining hard. It has been raining continuously since then - no break at all. I guess the drought is over. Our rain table was -7" according to the weatherman so this is all a good thing but it is a sad day in Florida when it rains. We just take the sunshine for granted.
