WORLD'S BEST CORN LITTER made from GMO corn -- filled with pesticide.

I emailed World's Best Cat Litter and asked them if they used Organic corn to make their corn litter.

World's Best emailed me back saying that they do not use Organic corn as it wouldn't be cost effective. The only other corn available is pesticide infused Genetically Modified Organism Corn, or GMO corn.

They said they rinse the corn really well. But GMO corn has pesticide infused into the very seed of the corn -- so rinsing it does not get rid of the pesticide in the corn.

I'm making cat owners aware of this problem so that our cats live long healthy lives and so that we, our pets and the environment are not exposed to yet another harmful toxin. I am no longer using World's Best cat litter for my cats.

Three highly rated harm-free cat litters are: Sweat Scoop wheat litter, Yesterday's News litter & Feline Pine litter. All are said to be human, pet and environmentally safe cat litters.

Note: Blue Buffalo walnut litter is said to be human, pet and environmentally safe, however, it is dark brown in color. Not only did it stain my cats paws a dark reddish brown -- the cats dark reddish brown paws transferred that dark reddish brown color to our carpets, our upholstered furniture and our bedding. For that reason alone, I'm not recommending the Blue Buffalo walnut litter.

Note about CLUMPING LITTERS: Sodium Bentonite is the leading cause of kidney failure in cats because this ingredient that forms hard clumps in the litter box also forms hard clumps in the intestines and kidneys of cats when they inadvertently ingest it when cleaning themselves.

It's well documented that clumping litters (with Sodium Bentonite) are hazardous to our cats health.

If you have a comment, question or suggestion, please post it so this topic stays current and everyone has the opportunity to read about this. Thanks. Smiley Happy
