WILLIAM AND KATE'S FIRST OFFICIAL JOINT PORTRAIT

And here's the full length, juxtaposed with real life image--

It is a very good likeness of them, I think.

What do you think of the style of the portrait?   Rather glamorous.  That they are looking away from the portraitist is interesting and appealing.

I like Kate's style when she plays to the slightly "retro" quality she has in her essence.  Hemline and shoes, neat.

Pretty swank!

I love it.  William and Kate are a beautiful couple.

The color looks great on Kate.

@Oznell   It is a very nice portrait.

I like everything about it except I am not sure about how Kate's bustline is emphasized -not sure if that is the right word-but in my perception.

I like William's stance-almost casual and not stiff at all.

Dress is wrong. William looks like a king.

I think it's a lovely portrait, formal but not stuffy. Modern pose which speaks to their close relationship. Great likeness of both, beautiful dress and shoes.  Very well done.

William looks confident and powerful in his stance. He does look like a king.  Kate is a beautiful woman, but I’m not sure they captured that here.

Re: WILLIAM AND KATE'S FIRST OFFICIAL JOINT PORTRAIT

I don't like the background.  It is depressing and dark and an awful color.  I don't like the color of her dress, the ruffles or the fact that she is leaning out and looking over her shoulder.  Now how I would want her to be protrayed.

She is a strong woman, doesn't need to bend or look over her shoulder.  Stand up and look stright ahead with him.

I think it needs to be redone with a new artist. This feels off.

Re: WILLIAM AND KATE'S FIRST OFFICIAL JOINT PORTRAIT

I very much prefer William and Kate in the more commonly seen pictures of them I've seen so often -  those that show them as the involved family couple still doing royal duties.  To me, this portrait just feels staged and dated in the monarchy of the past.

William looks great, not sure they did Kate justice. I wouldn't be happy
