THE CLOTHING TAG SAYS IMPORTED -
FROM WHERE?
THE GEMSTONE JEWELRY STATES "IMPORTED" - WHAT'S IMPORTED AND FROM WHERE?
FOOD SOURCED "IMPORTED" - UH OKAY - AND WHERE FROM?
ANY CHANCE WE WILL EVER HAVE THE INFO - OR IS QUARATE "IMPORTED" AS WELL AND THE ORIGIN A SECRET?
(I KID ABOUT THAT LAST REMARK, SORTA!!!!)

Doubtful, unless they change a law.

I also highly doubt they will ever state where the products are made. I think they would lose sales, because of where so much of it is made or imported from. So it would not be a smart move on their part, unless they start sourcing things in the United States.

No, I don't think that they will ever list where an item is made.
Think about it, one single item can have many different parts to it.
Take a necklace for example.
The clasp can be made in one country, the chain in a different country, and the pendant can be made in a third country.
Even clothing can be made in various countries, all for the same item.
The same exact shirt could be made in China, India, Pakistan, and Mexico.
When they are all at the main warehouse, it would be impossible to know where each shirt came from.
So, for these reasons among others, is why they just say "Imported" to cover where an item is made .

You do realize that the Q does not make these items you listed. They are only the seller. You need to ask the makers for more information on the items

They used to! But then they started the 'imported' tag for the stuff made in China and that ended up being used for everything imported. It's easy to see why they do that, but should they? IMO, no.

Sometimes if you look at the jewelry pictures if they show the back side of the piece you can see the country of origin. Otherwise, you have to buy it and the label will say where it was made. A lot of their jewelry comes from Italy, China, and a good deal comes from Turkey (the filigree stuff). Most clothing on the Q is made in China. I hope that changes in the future. I won't order food off the internet from Q or anywhere, for that matter, because I don't buy anything edible unless it is grown in the USA.

It is really the responsibility of QVC (the seller) to state where an item comes from or is it the responsibility of the maker?
All the gold and silver jewelry is stamped inside.
All clothes and shoes have tags.
Maybe it is just too much work for Q staff to check out every single item and write it down!

Thank you so much for posting this. I was wondering the same thing myself. I can't tell you how many products I wanted to buy but it says imported so I take it our of my cart. I guess it's good because it saves me money. I am not going to buy anything anymore unless I know where they are made.
