I know it's a for-fun thread and am not carping at it. But an answer to the question unexpectedly popped into my mind (as I was considering "invisibility," my childhood fantasy). I suddenly realized that if I was offered a super-power I would turn it down.
Power removes people from any sense of their limits, and knowing my limits helps to keep me on course. I don't need to triumph, just to survive in some state of equilibrium and balance. That's my comfort zone.
Invisibility might be pretty safe. I don't think I'd be tempted to abuse it. But it is a super-power (a lot of the ancient Greek stories and myths emphasize it), so still I'd turn it down.

Won and award at the end of the day assembly and got my picture in our city's paper. Only one teacher all day told me to put my skirt I had brought with me to school. I wore red bloomers and boots all day. I was I5 and having a ball. The school did look like a studio out in Hollywood with all the strange outfits and people walking about.
My Mom did so good on the head and wrist bands. Not to mention the belt!
Just reread the op thread, you said Super Power and I thought you wrote Super Hero. Do I feel like a doofus. Oh well.
Cute story!! ![]()

What a cool "power" ..... but my feeling is that they'd be very un-filtered, like children can be. What if we didn't like what they had to say? LOL

how about the power to make the censors here lighten up and get their panties out of a bundle when someone posts or responds to something?
