My dog is 8 years old and he follows me around. He is 85 lbs and sleeps in bed with me. I feel safe with him. I am single and live alone. I would miss him if he did not follow me around. In the morning when I feed him, I will stand by the kitchen sink and wait for him to eat his breakfast. I would never feel overwhelmed by him following me around. I am glad he is still healthy and happy. He has my heart and soul. I don't know what I would do without him. Just be happy that he is still with you.
