I won't buy big, heavy items on-line except from Costco. I just received my beautiful brown with a hint of grey -- leather loveseat from them - white glove delivery. This loveseat was removed from the site and replaced with another one in off-white - which I don't care for. So glad I ordered it when I did. Last year I bought a wood end table and wood coffee table from Costco on-line. Perfect!!!

I wear Bali bras - and used to order on-line from Kohls. Now I order from Hanes dot com - half price.

Almost 10 yrs ago, I purchased my lhasa puppy on-line. I searched for this breed of dog - white female - since my other lhasa just died - and the breeder, MaryAnn, lived 3 hours away. She and her husband brought the 2-month old lhasa to my house - as I don't drive that far. Best Purchase

I purchased many pairs of shoes from QVC thru the years: Clarks, Rykas, Birkenstocks. I wanted to buy those colorful Ryka sneakers - and just received 5 pairs from Zappos (Devotion Plus 2 and SmartWalk). I wear 7 wide and there are limited shoe stores near my house and they don't carry many wides. I read all the reviews for Ryka wide sneakers and chose the 2 with the best reviews.I also like the free shipping and free return.

I won't buy a mattress on-line or food items. I go to my local mattress store (I purchased 8 mattresses from them in the last 17 yrs - and I trust them). For food items - I have many markets within 10-15 minutes of my home. 

I don't have to leave my house anymore -- and I love receiving all those boxes from UPS/FedEx.

I'm very happy to be buying cat litter online these days.  I usually get it on Ebay ... an Ebates rebate, Ebay bucks, usually no tax and the 28 lb bags come right to my door.  How do you beat that for convenience?

Gas for my car I can't buy online.. I'd give anything to go into a real store again and buy anything. I rely on the internet due to what happened. Now I need very little anyway.

I can't see me ever buying a mattress on-line unless I already know what I want and find it cheaper on-line somewhere.

Luxury items. If I'm paying a premium price for a handbag, for example, I want the champagne service that I'm really paying for.

I think I'd have a hard time buying produce and meat on line...I like to look over those things first.

I never thought I'd buy big pieces of furniture on line, but just this year I've bought 2 leather Barcalounger recliners, a LazyBoy sofa and two upholstered dining room chairs (brand I've never heard of) from Wayfair, and been very pleased! I've also bought a 9 x 12 rug and matching runners on line, and was happy with all of them.
