Planning a quiet evening home this year.

 Going out to a formal dinner event, (ladies in full gowns, men in Tux) after party 1 to 3 am, brunch at the hotel on New Years day from 10-12 then home for a 2 day sleep !!   Happy New Year to everyone

Staying home with hubby watching my Patriots beat the jets.......Just teasing all you jets fans (LOL).  We'll cook a nice dinner, I believe cod pizaiola is on the menu.   Drinking champagne starting at game time therefore probably won't see the ball drop!!!

I will be on the sofa in front of the fireplace. I will enjoy some shrimp and eggnog and will probably watch Kennedy and Jesse Watters this year. I enjoy watching different hosts on various channels each year. I think many people will stay home this year because of the dangerous cold weather. 

Whatever you choose to do, enjoy yourselves and be safe.

My dad passed away on 12/24, we are staying in also it will be somewhere around 10 degrees or less here in suburban NYC

@Sookie Says. Unusually cold here in NC. We’re staying in with our favorite champagne. I’m cooking scallops with fresh spinach, toasted pine nuts in a white wine & butter sauce over angel hair pasta....yum! 

I never stay up long enough to be awake at midnight. I just put the beagles in the bed between DH and me and stay up as late as I can...usually 10PM.
