My Mom has Dementia and has no clue who I am or my DD. I miss her we spoke everyday and did a lot together with us and wish I could have said I love her and goodbye before this happened and she forgot who we were. She is taken care of and is comfortable that is all I can hope for.

My DD and I will be going to see the Goldie Hawn/Amy Schumer movie and out to lunch.

@Greeneyedlady21. ITA. When I asked the question re: plans for the day, I had no idea that some would share their loss, disappointment and relationships w/ their mothers. Definitely thanks to all for talking about your feelings.

@Shanus thank you. She is 84 but in her mind she is 63 and my Dad is still alive so I am greatful that in her world now she is in a happy place. We have good memories and so that is something to be thankful about. But yes it happens really fast and makes you value what time you have.
