Ask me tomorrow. Tonite, he’s on my “s” list. Walked in w/ dog poop all over his shoes and made it across the kitchen into the sunroom before we realized it. Great salmon dinner wasted...Yuck! We were busy cleaning up. 😜

Faithful - yes, handy around the house - yes, kind - yes...but the single most important thing and this is big, we are on the same page politically.  I cannot imagine what it would be like living under the same roof with someone who belonged to the other party.  That would be INTOLERABLE, that would be UNBEARABLE.  That would be grounds for a divorce. 

We are soooooo happy about this.

@bikerbabe.  My husbands whole family are the opposite political party that we are. No problems at all. We all laugh about it, but do not discuss it.

All my husbands friends at his clubs in town are the opposite also. He puts up with it.

So many things!  But probably most of all is that he says wonderful things about me to everyone he knows.  His friends and family often tell me how he boasts about me.

45 years later he’s still right here with me.  

@zumka,   We are also different political parties, but it’s never been a big thing, since neither of us have much interest.
