Boy, that's something I never look at on a fill by fill basis. When it started to get up in the $3 range, I rounded up my budget to $4. That's a price point I'll stick with. I figure, if I need it, it need it no matter what the price.

There was a major fire at an LA refinery, causing supplies to go down and prices to rise. Plus I think there has also been a strike at another refinery.

It's also the time of year when companies have to switch to spring/summer blends.

CA has a very specific blend, only used in that state - to keep down pollution. So with the refineries off line, prices had to rise.

Yes, they say it's more expensive for the spring and summer blends, but more efficient.

I've never noticed any difference.

The lowest we ever got down to here in the Buffalo, NY area was about $2.44.9. I think it's around $2.55 now! Oh well.... **********hi, dmod!!
