We were gone for the last three nights. Did Christmas shopping in Green Bay. It's the third largest city in the state, with a population of 108,000 but it's really easy to get around.

AuntG glad Green Bay is still easy to drive around in-never had aproblem when I would visit.

Southern WV is at a breezy 29 degrees with a mix of rain and snow.  I didn't waste any time taking the mail to the box earlier.  

I have completed the change out of curtains in the house over the last 2 days.  Also moved some furniture around in several rooms and vacuumed a lot of dust!  Switched the ceiling fans over to help circulate the rising heat.  Dug out the new festive holiday towels to use in both bathrooms, which add a nice bright touch.  

Am finding a lot of small tasks to keep me busy and moving thru the house often, which helps me keep an eye on my husband without hovering nearby, which he HATES!  Some days have been tougher than others but there are still smiles, laughter, memories being made, and blessings being counted in our house.

@RedTop, the temp here is 23 and it is snowing.

It is good to hear that you are getting some tasks done (which is alway a good feeling) and being there at the same time to care for your husband.

Still making memories is the best part.

Your husband seems very accepting about his condition @RedTop. I think you are giving him a feeling of peace by going about with your daily tasks, yet being close by if he needs you. I really admire your strength.

So cold & windy here. Wind chills single digits but no snow here thankfully. Staying in, writing holiday cards, shredding papers that I have no idea why I saved. Pretty soon the dreadful tax season starts. That is one pile of paperwork I tend to immediately.

@RedTop, I too admire your strength and how you are managing. I hope each day finds your DH feeling comfortable. Prayers for you and your family. 🙏
