It is always nice to see you here and on other threads.

It is good therapy to talk here. Everyone is supportive and sharing their stories keeps me remembering we are all together on a journey with hills to climb and days where we can just sit and enjoy some good times too.

Lemon bars are also good therapy.🤗😁❤️

Woke up so early around 2 AM and it looks like I'm staying awake.🥱

The aide will be here today.

Still waiting on the new medication for DH. I know the insurance is holding up the approval since it is new. Plus all we get is the estimated cost IF approved which is not good. The neurologist is working on this thank goodness. It's just annoying.

Watching all the evacuation in Florida.😢 I cannot even begin to imagine being in miles and miles of traffic. How tiring it must be.

I woke this morning in a good mood until I thought of the chores that lie ahead for the day!😂 I am going to repot a few Pothos even though it is late in the season.

@Cakers3 I empathize with you regarding the FRUSTRATION of dealing with insurance companies, and hope you have a resolution soon!🤞I am so saddened by the situation in Florida and other coastal regions that I can no longer watch the news, but am SO grateful to those who are watching, and providing updates!❤️ 

As always, I am sending healing prayers🙏, and hugs🤗 of LOVE❤️ and support for ANYONE in need today!💝💝

hey all

went to our new target store here in town-huge new store-just opened 8th oct.

was not to impressed. give it time for growing room-the bathrooms are all the way at the other end of the store-so if you need to go-this is well over a football field long. only 1 bathroom

A quiet week here, beautiful weather for walking which is nice. I had lunch with an old friend yesterday, I had a chicken cranberry wrap. They will leave for AZ on Oct. 31st as they are snowbirds so it was good to see her before they leave. Today I got my flu shot after my blood draw. It looks like Friday will be our last summer day so the warmer clothes will come out.

Watching Florida and remembering all the good people hurt by Milton and those still with a very hard journey after Helene.😢

Really puts things in a realistic perspective.

Going back for round 2 with my chiro--threw my lower back out just bending over twisting and turning-- in some weird fashion🙄--when scrubbing my feet in the shower---OMG!!! Just kill me now!!! Was able to get in to see the dr within about 2 hours  so the damage was still fresh---but am very sore and not able to do much except ice and heat. This chiro doesn't twist and crack me like you think, but uses a handheld punch like thing so the treatment isn't as bad as the injury but does take a time or 2 to work things out!! Good grief!!!

It just never ends around here. My greatgrandson was playing kickball and stopped real quick.He ripped the tendon in his left knee and broke both knees.They transferred him to a childrens hospital and he had surgery. The doctor said its bad because his bones are still growing.The surgery went well.He is 14 years old.He has a cast on both legs and of course cant bend his legs.His doctor wants him to go to a rehab hospital but of course it all depends on the almighty insurance company.
