hey all

full sunshine ultra BRISK cold windy day here

had a powerful rain storm last night which we drove home in from that meet we had up north yesterday afternoon

have to go mall today to return an item-wrong size-we guessed and go it wrong-

Staying in & doing laundry while I shred the last pile of junk mail, etc. Chili cooking away in the slow cooker. I finished my holiday cards & DH took them to mail. Freezing temps but he is restless so off he went. His next stop is the laundromat to dry some thick comforters.

It is very cold, hasn't been this cold since January. I chopped up carrots, onions, and celery to make two soup recipes tomorrow. I always like to freeze soup to have in the freezer on cold days when I don't feel like cooking or am under the weather.

Also a drab blah cold day here ! High for the day is 25 degrees...but better than -25 bellow zero.

But did go to lunch with my sister and her neighbor  and was brought back to my house afterwards.

Beautiful day here in Southern California. We will have temperatures in the high 60's.

I have been looking forward to today. Annually before Christmas myself and one of my good girlfriends head to a premium outlet center in the desert and do our Christmas shopping. We arrive when they open at 10:00 and are done in about four hours. Afterwards, we head into Palm Springs for a  late lunch, and then head back. It's an all day event, but we have been doing this for years. 

I hope that everyone enjoys their Saturday.
