Three hours of raking and blowing leaves in the back yard. Filled up 3 garbage cans. The redwood trees are beautiful, but make a big mess.

@qvcaddition I can relate to the overabundance of leaves. We'll do one more clean up tomorrow, and that will have to be good enough.

It was a good day!

Finished my sweater, did three loads of laundry ... not because of a lot of dirty stuff ... it was dark wash, white wash and knits. Each has it's own temperature and cycle. All folded and put away.

I just started a scarf to go with the sweater.

I am so happy to have a three day weekend due to Veterans Day on Monday. My commute has been wearing me out. Traffic has just been horrible, in both directions meaning driving to work and driving home in the evening.

Today, I am going to get a Spa Pedicure and then run by a library in the next city over. I want to watch "Queen of the South" this weekend, and they have the DV'D for the first season available. I could order it and have it delivered to my library but that would take several days.

I might go by the grocery store as well.

I wish I never planted the two redwood trees, but they were from my grandson's and sons graduation and so small and cute. Now huge and when it's windy, leaves all over, back and front of house. I can't afford a gardner and no other help. I'm 88 and a good thing I have kept up my exercises and in good health, so I can do it. Three big cans full and two days of work. I'm tired now.

Going to rain Monday, but as long as the winds are not high, it should be OK. Keeps me young ha ha.
