What a horrible injury for your great grandson. Sending healing thoughts, he has a long road ahead of him, but with the love of family and modern medicine he will definitely recover.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY????

Well, I am back home and plan on relaxing for the rest of the day.   I had to go by the dealership this morning for an appointment, and to pick up a sunshade that I had ordered through them. I know that you can purchase on Amazon for lesser money, but the quality is just not the same in my opinion.

After the dealership I picked up some items from a store that we have out here called Burlington. Our church is having a Harvest Fall Festival, and we are blessing 250 local children with fall clothing. I volunteered to purchase items for one child. I was assigned a girl, and given specific items to purchase for her. Boots, Jacket, Pants, and a sweater.

My last errand was to run by Dollar Tree. It's my go to place for cards. I have a girlfriend that has an upcoming birthday this week, so I picked her up a birthday card.

That's it for me today. Enjoy your day.

You are going through a lot and you are such a light on the board and this thread. Keep fighting as someone told me recently. We all have so many medical struggles, it'a actually a sense of comfort to know others are going through their own medical trials, and we all lift each other up.

@icezeus Thank you for your kind words!🥰 I could not have said it any better!❤️ This is a safe, and COMFORTING place to give and receive support, as we individually endure our medical hurdles and obstacles! For that I am truly grateful-knowing that kindness, love and support is just a click away when visiting!😊

Did some deep cleaning this morning. Then had a late lunch at a sports bar, and stayed to watch college football.

Our house must be a dust magnet, or my Shark vacuum is a powerhouse! We don't have pets, I do a light cleaning every morning, and that dust cup was half full. It's kind of  discouraging because I don't understand where that grayish dust comes from.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY????

Happy Sunday. I am exhausted. I have had a full day, and I wish to just stretch out and relax in my chair.

I attended service this morning, then came home to change clothes, before heading to the nail salon for my spa pedicure. Afterwards,  I went to the AT & T store, where they could not find on my account where I had  purchased the screen protector for my phone. It's a life time warranty. When it cracks you pay $10.00 to replace it. I was pretty annoyed.  I ended up repurchasing another one at full price $45.00. I told the guy to print out my receipt which I will keep in my glove compartment box moving forward. In case I need to replace it again. Since I can't trust their system.

Last stop was one of the wineries where I was meeting a GF for lunch.

I just put in in a load of laundry a few minutes ago. I can't wait for it to be done to fully relax.

Enjoy your Sunday.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY????

Just put a pot of my version of "stew" on the stove.  Rest of the day will be spent with my crochet hook and lots of yarn.

Sunday .... went to vigil Mass last night - so free day to catch up on stuff.  There''s nothing on my calendar thie entire next week (except for grocery store).

This morning, I "converted" four cardigans into pull-overs.  Have to wash and block before I can wear them ... and  I still have a few more to go.  I have to repair two sweaters .... somehow, they got snagged.

I have 7 medium  size bags of clothes to drop off at the Goodwill box on Tuesday.  And ... that's only the stuff from ONE closet.  Two more closets to go.

I think my next purge will be my shoe collection.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY????

@hellie jo

Glad to hear that your GGrandson is in the rehab facility and feeling better.

Well today is a holiday for me, so I am having an easy day. Pest control came by earlier, then I treated myself to breakfast at I-Hop. I had to run by Walgreens for a battery for my motion sensor in my home, and lastly back to Dollar Tree. I was just there the other day and only picked up one card, forgetting that I needed to pick up a sympathy card for a coworker who loss her father.

Well, that's it. I will be reading, watching T.V. and filling out my ballot so that I can drop off tomorrow morning on my way to work.

Enjoy  your Monday.
