Went to the eye doctor,almost missed the driveway and ran over the curb.When I get nervous or embarrassed I laugh. I was laughing thinking that people that saw me were saying boy does she need to see that doctor! My eye is healing and have an appointment to have my other eye done in December.

No appointments next week! YEAH. DH is done with his cardio rehab and thinking of joining the gym there. It would be something for him to do.I know I would not keep it up.He would also use the pool too.

Will have steak on the grill tonight. The weather continues to be awesome. I"ll take it as long as it lasts.

Ortho surgeon is conferring with neurologist, PCP, and Dr.🔥 regarding another spine surgery for DH. He is uber conservative but I think he is leaning to it because of the new compression found on DH's spine.

He is concerned about surgery because of DH's other health issues.

I have an MRI and other fun appointments with Ortho surgeon myself coming up. *sigh*

I headed out to Trader Joe's as they opened today and they have most of their pumpkin products out. They had the cutest tiny skull for Day of the Dead with a cactus in it and it had a magnet to place on the refrigerator.

I almost bought one but I don't think the cactus would last long, maybe.

Listening to my Moody Blues on my headphones with my iPod. It is almost 20 years old and still works like a charm. The kids bought it for me one Christmas.

@hellie jo I hope all is ok with your eyes and good to read DH is better.

I just had my eye appointment and new glasses two weeks ago. New doctor and not 🔥 ( 🤪) but funny as all get out. I liked my other doctor very much but she's a tad too far now and my glasses would be not covered because she does not take the extra benefit we have now.

I have to go back and finish reading.

@cowboy sam Perhaps a scan might be warranted for your thyroid. I had one when my hypo was diagnosed. I am on 75 mcg. I've been dropped down twice but stable for a year. I knew when I needed adjustment because I would just feel off.

PCP takes blood every 3 or 6 months. Usually 6 months is enough.

Managing appointments is tough, but it's necessary as we age. Our furnace tune-up was done. Then I pulled the fall bedding out of the linen closet and washed lots of throws. Today I ordered Valerie's TSV and a food treat for Christmas, with a December ship date. Tonight we'll watch baseball. Hope you all have a good week as we welcome fall.
