Happy New Years Eve. I am off work until Monday, and we have rain on and off for the next several days, so I am glad that I do not have to drive unless I choose to go out.

My brother came by earlier today, since he was in the area and dropped off my assembled Christmas gift. (smile) While he was here, I had him put away my Christmas tree for me.

Went by the grocery store to pick up a handful of items, purged a few items, and the rest off the day has been spent relaxing, watching t.v.

I am debating throwing in a load of laundry.

First of all - Sincere best wishes to all of you for a new year full of good health and happiness.   Last year was difficult and I thank everyone so much for all of  your support.  

I stayed home to welcome in the new year with my little fur baby.   I tried to watch the new year celebrations on tv but was not in the mood.    I have all 5 seasons of the reboot of Magnum PI recorded and decided to watch a few episodes.   I really enjoyed that show and was so disappointed when it was cancelled last year.  Any time I want to watch some tv and can't find anything to watch I always revert back to watching my recordings of this show.

Tried to take fur baby for a walk.   I got him dressed and started our walk but he wanted to go home instead.  It is cold (about 15 degrees) but that does not usually stop him.  Oh well, perhaps it's better we did not go further as the sidewalks that did not get shoveled yesterday now have ice and are slippery.

A friend stopped over to visit yesterday.  Today I feel sad and alone as yesterday brought back memories of how nice it is to have someone here in the house with me.  The only thing that helps me when I get this way it to get busy.  I think I'm going to start working on taking down the Christmas decorations inside the house today. 

 Tomorrow I need to go to the UPS store to return a QVC item, need to get gas for the car and need some groceries.  I'll put the box in the car and write my grocery list today.

HAPPY NEW YEARS GUYS

Happy New Year to all.

I started taking my hair down. I wear a weave, and have an appointment in a few weeks. I like to give my own hair a chance to breathe for lack of a better word in between appointments.

Earlier today I had the last piece of furniture delivered to finish my bedroom. I am pleased that "operation" new bedroom set is completed. :-)

I have two items that I need to return to QVC via UPS tomorrow. I went ahead and filled out my return online and received the mobile return code.

I have a load of towels washing right now, and I need to straightened up my kitchen, but that's it.

It's NY day and I am preparing for a Dinner Sunday. Haven't given one in 17 years.  No kidding.  My neighbors have been very good to me, so one by one, I will be giving small dinners.

Happy New Year.  We went to church at 10am and I put presents away. Our meals have been primarily snacks. I love a bean based appetizer called Cowboy Salsa, so I made up a big bowl of that.

Just another day with DH but it's another world entirely.😞

It's a very warm day today but I had a few errands. Surprisingly the traffic was light.

I hope everyone is doing ok and many blessings to all.
