Re: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY????

My morning has been busy doing trucker daughters laundry, opening areas of the house for the exterminator to spray, and giving instructions to the monument company setting my husbands marker in the cemetery today.  Weather has delayed the installation twice, after I had to change to Plan B, so I will be relieved when the job is finally done.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY????

I will be leaving work a little early. I need to go home and get ready for a Christmas party one of my girlfriends is having.  Quite honestly, I do not feel like attending anymore. I am tired and want to go home, do a few things around the house, and rest.

However, I confirmed my attendance. It isn't polite to back out of functions after a certain amount of time has passed.

I am sure I will enjoy myself at the gathering, but I will not be staying late.

Enjoy your day!

[ Edited ]

I'm gearing up for my husband's second neurology visit. I am hoping for a higher dosage and/or a time-release version of his main med and I am wondering about a different memory RX.

It's a long drive on crowded highways with rain in the forecast so I am stressed.

To add to it all, the dog is showing his age. He turned 17 1/2 on 12/1 and had a pancreatitis attack recently. He still has high pancreas lab values. He's engaged with us and has an appetite though. His pain levels are hard to gauge.

@tansy

I hope that you have safe travels. Like you, I detest driving in the rain and will not go out unless I have no choice, such as going to work.

I have already spoken with my Brother and SIL that I will not be down on Christmas because of a significant rain storm that will be in So. California, on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We have made arrangements to hang out at their house on the Saturday after Christmas.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY????

@icezeus My son, DIL and g- son decided to surprise us with a visit on NY's Day. I wish they'd have come here in the spring.

They live in Santa Barbara.

We are leaving for the appointment in a few minutes. Raining on and off.

Did some cleaning in the kitchen. I abhor stainless steel appliances! Then my husband and I dropped off some "Santa" gifts for the grand's parents to put under the tree. Our next stop was for the early bird Friday fish fry. He had perch and I had haddock.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY????

I worked today, it was  a long day, came home and got out things to start prepping for our family Christmas on Saturday.

We do finger food, but everything need to be made tomorrow,I will have time to get it all done before they arrive late afternoon.

Honestly I hate to be a debbie downer, I'd like to pass it by this year.  Work has been long and stressful the last few months, my husband is still not feeling himself, which is hard on me...YES I KNOW, he is the one in pain....it has been almost 2 years with not much improvement in how he feels, and I have picked up the slack at home and at our business....I guess I am tired, but now growly, lol!!

Christmas day it will be just the two of us, so I will have that day with out any responsibilities.

Our December weather has been so odd, lots of snow, and cold weather. Today is was brutally cold and very windy, which made the roads a bit slick in spots.

Saturday is supposed to be warmer, which is good, our granddaughter and her family live about 30 minutes from us and sometimes the roads can be bad. Step daughter lives less than a mile from us so travel is not an issue for her.

Have a good weekend all.
