Picked up husband's car today.  If I had asked they would of had someone pick me up, but I try hard not to ask for a favor if it's something I can handle on my own.  My thought is that I know there are going to be things in the future I cannot do by myself so I want to "save" asking for help until I really need it.     Since my husband's "car" is an El Camino it has a truck bed.   So......I rode my husband's bicycle about 3 miles to the shop,  put the bicycle in the bed of the vehicle and drove it home.  The guys at the shop were smiling when they heard how I got there!

Spoke to brother-in-law:  We'll be meeting at my father-in-law's for Thanksgiving, so he called to give me details regarding time, who will and will not be there, etc. 

Received HSN  package in mail:    I been enjoying lately the Doll 10 line of cosmetics.  I picked up two blushes.  The HSN price for two was the same price as QVC; however, with QVC you only received one.

Our weather is going to be fairly good for the next 3 - 4 days, so I will try to get a few errands done tomorrow while all is good weather wise.

It's almost the end of the workday.  We have been dealing with a lot of rain since last week. Today is cool but sunny.

I had a nice lunch with my co-workers. Plan to go home in a few hours and relax by reading and watching TV. Might pay a few online bills tonight.

I ordered some new furniture,  which will be delivered soon. The day after Thanksgiving, my brother will be by to help me remove my old bedroom furniture. Tomorrow,  Saturday, I plan to pack up my dresser and nightstand contents so that when he comes by, they're ready to be moved to the curb, where I have already scheduled a bulky-item pickup for the old items.

Walked fur baby 4-miles today.

Read about 4 days of newspapers.

Treated myself to a cheeseburger and onion rings.

Went to Target.

The weather is perfect today.  Everyone is outside either raking leaves or putting up Christmas decorations.   In my opinion, it's too early for Christmas as Thanksgiving has not happened yet.  When I walk my little guy I see pumpkins, skeletons, turkeys and Santa's!   Quite a selection!

My husband had a pinky finger that was deformed.  I think it was due to arthritis and the finger would stick out to the side.  Sometimes when my husband would wear gloves he would need me to help him - I would push the little finger in so he could guide it into gloves.  When I was in his car yesterday I noticed a pair of gloves he had neatly laid on the "hump" on the floor.  I noticed all of the fingers on the glove looked normal except the last one where the pinky finger would go - it was sticking out to the side.  I took a picture of it today as it'll be a good memory some day.  Today it made me cry.  Oh well, I've been doing pretty good lately so I guess I was due for a good cry - they say "it comes in waves".

I think it'll be best to keep myself busy.  My lawn guy did not show up on Friday - I hope he's ok!   I guess I'll go outside and work again on the leaves.  Next I'll unpack my Target bags and then I have a load or two of clothes to wash.

it was a good movie-took 40 minutes of :commericals: to get to the movie.
