Our two Thanksgiving meals were great. Outdoor decorations went up yesterday. Then my husband and I attended a cantata to prepare for the true meaning of Christmas. Today we'll decorate the inside. I bowed out of another thread because I only pop in occasionally and feel like I'm intruding on private conversations. This is my favorite group to just chat with!

Decorating the Christmas Tree.  DH put up the outside decorations on Thanksgiving.  Yesterday my girls and I decorated inside as DH put up the tree. Today before oldest DD goes back to DC it is the tree.

not much today

did cleaning in back half of house today done till next week thurs when i begin front half of house clean.

sunny and comfortable outside tomorrow a real wash out heavy rain most of day

not much else going on, later guys

We will have dinner at DS today; just simple, not the big spread as before.

HELLO ALL

raining quite hard out today. don't know if i will take an afternoon walk see what happens.

today is sheet day for me. dh and i talked it over & wanted to try something, will it work for us don't know as of yet.

dh and i got up at 6am, stripped the bedding down to mattress pad put in basket. dh took it over to the laudramat here in town (about 2 miles from my house) to wash the sheets/blankets (2 heavy blankets),mattress padding. it worked out for us today. it cost $15 bucks for wash/dry load. it saved my dryer a great deal. dh was gone about 1 hour start to finish.he was there at 7am when laundramet opened so no one was in the store,he was able to stay with clothes, people were coming in when clothes were in dryer. we will try again next week and see how it goes. he did not fold at laundramat,he brought home clean bedding in a leaf bag i have in the house and we folded here at home. i would be doing 4-5 loads if i had to do the blankets and bedding, less wear and tear on my dryer too.

see what happens as we go along.

@viva923, I have taken big loads to a nearby laundromat & find that the cost is probably a savings. When you figure in the cost of water, gas and/or electric & like you say wear & tear on your machines, it makes sense to me. The laundromat here is very clean & always has an attendant present. Plus they have machines that are big enough to do blankets, jackets, etc. I hope it works well for you.

Dinner yesterday was nice.  Good to be together.

really not to much here today

did laundry all folded and put away

more clouds than sun today,did get morn walk in.

did my sink washing of my junk i have in the living room/dining room areas. prepped for cleaning the 2 rooms later this week.

tomorrow am going to work on both refrigerators get them done for the week
