I am also in North County and was following the radar on the computer. 

 

The sirens didn't go off until the radar showed our area was clear.  What was up with that?

 

Thankfully, it was a false alarm.

@forsythia1.......Yes, that is weird about the sirens.  It did get off here to warn us, but never went on again to let us know we were in the clear.  It rained pretty hard and was pretty windy.  The as you know by the temps this morning a cold front moved in.  I am in the Webster, Crestwood, Affton area.
