Just passing this on because stupid me sure learned. Last night, plugged the Voronado heat fan into a big old hundred bucks surge protecter running the flat screen. Watching my movie, and decided to turn it up just an itsy bit more to warm the toesies. Next thing I know the surge protecter is making a high pitched sound and it shuts everything off. It seems I overloaded it, dah! AND, I made the expensive protecter self destruct to protect he TV, it gave its life for us, sniff sniff. So, I thought because it was so expensive and had plenty of free space I could do this because I was only running a TV in addition to the heater.
Always give a space heaters their own outlet, I knew this in the back of my mind but blew it off, you know that feeling???
